Hand-harvested at night to ensure cool temperatures, we cold soak the berries to draw color and develop flavors while elevating structure. Napa Valey’s 2023 vintage is already being called a unicorn year — resulting in grapes of ideal ripeness and wines that balance hedonism with charm. This marks our third consecutive vintage sourced from two historic hillside vineyards.

Owning & Enjoying
- Tasting notes

Full multidimensional, with dense blackberry & black cherry fruit, lifted by graphite & refined oak spice. Fine-grained tannins and refreshing energy carry through to a lingering finish.

As critic Jeb Dunnuck wrote, “It brings way more texture, purity, and balance than you’d expect at the price.”

- Winery Description

The Western spirit of California still runs through this vibrant Napa Cabernet.
First and foremost, The Ride and Ridden wines are bold, unapologetic Cabernets of the West, untamed and unreal. They are an homage to open roads, open possibilities, and an irreverent past that so many of us would like to recapture.
All it took was one rodeo in Mesquite, Texas to change photographer Steve Wrubel’s life. His beautiful, kinetic rodeo photographs adorn every bottle of Ride and Ridden wines and speak to their bold spirit. Winemaker and native Texan Remie Jorgensen ensures that the wines make it to the bottle in a fresh, sweet-fruited style.
Remington joins Ride & Ridden Wine Co. from Alejandro Bulgheroni Estate, after an impressive series of stages at the likes of Château de Beaucastel, Rajat Parr’s Domaine de la Côte, and Opus One. As a young winemaker with vision, she is fully prepared to take us to the next level in both quality and volume in the coming years. Her background, knowledge and drive make her the perfect addition to our growing team. Remington’s appointment is the green light from Royal partner Maayan Koschitzky, Director of Winemaking at Atelier Melka.
“Maayan is a friend, and he’s been a great mentor to me over the past few years,” Remie says. “There’s a great level of trust between us.Ride and Ridden wines are part of the portfolio of Royal Wine & Spirits Company, which also makes SlamDunk.
