The Petite Sirah grapes are from a high elevation vineyard in the Sierra Foothills, one of California's oldest growing regions located 160km from San Francisco. The Zinfandel grapes come from old vines in the Lodi growing region.

Tasting notes

Intensely aromatic out of the glass with fragrances of blueberry, boysenberry and black plum. Dense and expansive on the palate, the Petite Sirah and Zinfandel blend reveals lush, generous flavors of black cherry, cedar and sweet tobacco.

What kind of wine would be as awesome as Jordan's Slam Dunk? -This was the question that occurred to David and Mayan, the winemakers of this wine.

One day, they were glued to the hit documentary "The Last Dance" co-produced by ESPN Films and Netflix. The series, which chronicled the dramatic championship run of Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls from 1997 to 1998, was a tribute to one of the greatest athletes in history, Jordan, at the top of his game, dunking with a move that no one else could duplicate. His slam dunks, with all their agility, grace, and power, were electrifying to watch.

It was the same excitement that we experience in our daily lives when we think, "I've got it! in our daily lives. A wine that reminds you of winning a game, closing a big business deal, wowing your boss, or getting your own personal slam dunk in life - a wine that is perfectly blended, easy to drink, and just plain delicious! And at an affordable price. The goal was to create a wine that everyone would agree was perfectly blended, easy to drink, and just plain delicious, yet affordable.

Vintner David visited growers all over California and negotiated with several high-quality producers in the Central Valley and Sierra Foothills to share their fine grapes at a price where he could deliver an amazing wine, on the condition that they would not be named. Maayan Koschitzky, David's partner in Royal Prince Wines, was in charge of the winemaking and created Slam Dunk.

The Dream Team
David Green, with over 30 years of experience in California wine marketing, has successfully advised many wineries, including Lede Family Wines, Dana Estate, and Joel Gott Wines. Maayan Koschitzky, a winemaker from Israel, trained at Screaming Eagle and Dalla Valle since 2011. In 2014, he was invited by Philippe Melka to join Atelier Melka as Assistant Winemaker. Just two years later, he became Director of Oenology. Named by Wine Enthusiast as one of the "40 Tastemakers Under 40 for 2019", he is truly a rising star and a winemaker to watch.
