IWJ Spring Trade Tasting - Tokyo 2025

We are pleased to inform you that we will be holding a Spring tasting on February 12th. As in the past, reservations are required in advance for each of the three sessions, so please register for the slot of your choice.

Nick Franscioni, the second-generation winemaker from Roar Wines, a family-owned winery in Santa Lucia Highlands, will be joining the tasting and showcasing his wines.

Gary and his wife Rosella Francioni, who have farmed in the Santa Lucia Highlands for generations, began growing grapes at the urging of their neighbor Pisoni. In addition to supplying grapes to Pisoni and other prominent wineries, the winery has become increasingly well known since Ed Kurtzman took over as winemaker in 2007. Although small quantities are produced, the wines are awarded high scores every year.
