This Burmeister Cabernet Sauvignon Yountville 2019 is an especially robust, Cabernet. The source cannot be disclosed due to contractual obligations, but it is one of Yountville's best. Dry-farming allows the roots to grow deep into the ground, giving the fruit a firm, dark color and concentration. The grapes grow under ideal conditions, benefiting from the warm afternoon sun and evening fog, and are very healthy, with an excellent balance of rich fruit and acidity.

Enticing aromas of dark berries, vanilla, cocoa and delicate wood components, the wine reveals flavors of  black cherry and blueberry with complex baking spice notes, all wrapped up in a smooth, silky texture.

This is a remarkable value as their wines normally go for more than twice this price.

Yountville is renowned for producing some of Napa Valley's most elegant and intricate wines. The AVA's unique elegance stems from its southerly location, which exposes it to constant fog and wind. The low elevation of the valley floor creates ideal growing conditions for Cabernet. Yountville Cabernets are supple, showing complexity and finely knit tannins due to this relatively cooler climate.

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was dry-farmed, encouraging the roots to delve deep into the soil and imbue the fruit with extra intensity and concentrated flavor. The wine is a true expression of Yountville's terroir, showcasing the best of this exceptional AVA.
